A message from Richard Dorsey

Studying history is like wearing glasses.  History helps me see the present more clearly .  I am particularly interested in Celtic peoples.  I consider them ancestors of most European nations.  In The Sword Fighter, the struggles of the Hispanic Celts and the Romans sow the seeds of the future Spain and Portugal.

Read the first few chapters of The Sword Fighter available on this website.

Book I is part of a series and establishes the premise that the Hispanics were a formidable opponent of Rome.

Book II, Hidalgo, is three-quarters finished in unedited manuscript form.  I can’t believe what an opera of intrigue and adventure Hidalgo is turning out to be.  You can visit a few chapters of Hidalgo here at this website.   Hidalgo makes more sense, however, if you have read Book I, The Sword Fighter.
